We are a large school based in buildings which used to house a Radio Operator school serving the Luftwaffe during WW2.
Our Key Stage 1 and 2 classes are located across three levels in two sympathetically converted blocks of the old buildings, whilst our FS1 children in 'Tree-Tops' enjoy two modern buildings next door.
Each classroom has either an interactive whiteboard or large interactive plasma screen. Children have access to a wide range of equipment to enable us to deliver a modern curriculum in line with current UK trends and directives from the DCSF in London.
We also have dedicated space for Dance and Drama; a large multi-purpose Hall; a Dining Room where our lunchtime staff serve meals cooked fresh in our own kitchens on-site; a well stocked library; a Food Technology room; a well equipped Music Room with exciting instruments like African Drums (and a complete drum kit), electronic keyboards, and class sets of flutes, ukuleles and recorders; two ICT rooms, containing a total of 50 computers; video conferencing facilities, mobile sets of digital recorders, cameras, laptops and ipads; a large well equipped playground including an outdoor classroom, and lots, lots more!
